On Monday, May 18, 2020, the San Mateo County Superior Court issued an order for pending unlawful detainer (eviction) actions in light of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.  As the San Mateo County Superior Court gradually reopens following a two-month closure in response to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic, the court orders the following regarding pending eviction actions: The San Mateo County Superior Court may extend the dates specified above, if the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic continues affecting public safety.
