Trump Suspends Federal Housing Evictions Due to Coronavirus/COVID-19

On Wednesday, March 18, 2020, President Trump announced his intention to suspend all evictions of tenants in federal housing through April 30, 2020, in response to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.

The nationwide eviction moratorium comes after several U.S. cities and counties, including San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, and Los Angeles, have moved or are moving towards halting evictions in response to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.
